9-5-25   THOUGHTS

We have this morning a picture of God  demonstrating His love toward us!  Verse 8 is the key to eternity!  Peace, reconciliation, and justification are brought to  us in the blood of our Lord.  Verse 10 explains that we are saved  by His life!  This information is summarily awesome!  The “while we were still helpless”, and  “while we were yet sinners”  terminology places us in the realm of GRACE and MERCY and  LOVE.  IT IS ALL FROM OUR GOD!      Rom 4:17b   “even] God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.”

Rom 5:6-11   For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7  For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.  8  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9  Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.  10  For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.  11  And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

A Prayer:
O God, all that we are and hope to be comes from You. We long to praise You and glorify Your great name eternally.  All of our possibilities come from You.  Death and the blood of Jesus has purchased us for Your own possession!  Empower us to live "the alive life" You wish for us.  May we long deeply for a closer walk with You each day.  Help us to abide in Your presence.
We praise and thank You in the name of Jesus,     Amen.
